Faithful Harvest uses the Alveary curriculum, which takes Mason's timeless principles and applies them to the 21st century.
At Faithful Harvest, we offer a curriculum that inspires a love for learning and empowers students to reach their full potential. Rooted in the esteemed Alveary curriculum, developed by the Charlotte Mason Institute, our educational approach combines the timeless principles of Charlotte Mason with modern pedagogical practices. This dynamic curriculum engages students in meaningful exploration and discovery across all subject areas, fostering a deep understanding of the world and a lifelong passion for learning.
One reason we use the Alveary curriculum is that it allows parents full access. Parental involvement and flexibility is a high priority. Parents can choose how active they would like to participate in their child's education and tailor learning experiences to fit their family's unique needs and schedule. This partnership between school and home ensures a seamless integration of learning and life, fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment for every student.
The Classroom
In this inaugural stage, we're delighted to welcome a vibrant class of 1st-3rd graders into a nurturing home environment. Within this cozy setting, a dedicated large living room and adjacent mudroom, featuring its own entrance, has been transform into an inspiring classroom. Here, young minds will flourish amidst designated spaces for engaging read-aloud sessions, creative writing endeavors, artistic exploration, and piano music area. Additionally, our well-equipped mudroom serves a dual purpose, providing storage for outdoor gear, while offering a indoor/outdoor countertop for both academics and breaks.
In the years to come we plan to move the school to a barn and offer classes for K-9th grade.
