Future Expansion: Chinese Language Program
At Faithful Harvest, we are excited about the prospect of introducing a Chinese Language Program to our curriculum. Inspired by the transformative experiences of our founder, Kamala Diefenthaler, during her time living in Beijing, we envision sharing the joy and adventure of learning Chinese language and culture with our students. Kamala's passion for Chinese language education is evident through her leadership as the President of the Barrington Chinese Immersion Council, where she has organized cultural events, story times, and facilitated Chinese book purchases.
Currently, we offer Chinese tutoring services. However, our vision extends beyond tutoring to establish a comprehensive Chinese Language Program led by a dedicated full-time teacher. We are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team and help us realize this exciting expansion. With this program, we aim to provide our students with valuable linguistic skills and a deeper appreciation for the richness of Chinese culture.

Expand Grades to 1st through 9th:
Faithful Harvest is planning to welcome students from 1st through 9th grade, broadening our educational horizons and enriching the learning experience for all.
Relocate to a Barn:
As our grade level offerings increase, so will our classroom space. Faithful Harvest plans to transition to a charming barn setting! With spacious classrooms and large doors opening to the outdoors, our new barn location promises to be a haven for exploration and discovery.
House More Animals:
The adventure continues as we plan to introduce a menagerie of animals to our school community. Potentially alpacas and sheep to classroom pets like lizards and beyond, our animal companions will add an extra layer of wonder and excitement to the Faithful Harvest experience.
